The People of PMG

We’re very proud of our whole team. Not just for their talent, but for the kind of people they are. These are some of the people who will make you look good. Really good.

Jennie Van Buskirk
When you stop by PMG, you feel at home right away. That’s because of the welcoming presence of Jennie. She’ll get to know you in no time and start treating you like one of the family. Hey, even if she doesn’t know you, she’ll still treat you that way.

Ask Jennie what makes her happy at work and she’ll tell you, “When I answer the phone and I recognize the caller’s voice and I’m able to give them a personal greeting.”

She loves our customers, and all the interesting people she gets to work with. And it shows. Imagine how Jennie’s other love – her family – must feel when she’s around. When she’s not reading or crocheting, you’ll probably find Jennie spreading her trademark joy to her family and friends.

Jim Paolucci
To Jim, one of the most fulfilling things about his work is seeing a project go out on time and under budget while meeting the client’s expectations. He loves nothing more than to make the client look good and have a little fun in the process.

The best part of his job? The people he deals with: his teammates at PMG, his customers and his suppliers. But nothing is more important to Jim than family. He’s passionate about his favorite pastime. “Spending time with my wife and two kids and watching my two kids grow up is amazing. Time moves by so fast and I want to cherish every moment with my family as I can.”

Jim appreciates that PMG understands the importance of family and has the depth of resources and the flexibility to allow everyone on the team to share special moments with their loved ones and not to worry whether the work is getting done.

Fred Lloyd
What makes work life so much fun for Fred? He cites the enjoyment and fulfillment of working directly with our clients. As well as the confidence and feeling of accomplishment he and his teammates achieve by managing a project from the initial conception to invoice.

“PMG has always been about the balance between our work and our personal life. The management staff at PMG keeps a close eye on the number of hours worked. If too many hours are worked for an extended time period by an employee, steps are taken to make sure that doesn’t become routine.”

As for his personal time, well, it’s a tie between hiking with his wife and collecting baseball cards. But if push came to shove…

Vicky Clark
Working with clients and suppliers to launch a successful mail campaign. Finding ways to overcome obstacles, reduce costs, or production time. Learning something new all the time. Those are the things that keep Vicky motivated on the job.

But she’s not all business. There’s something else Vicky is proud of. “It’s the relationships I’ve made. The culture at PMG is designed to foster strong and lasting relationships, both internally and with external partners. We work hard, but have a great deal of fun – there’s lots of laughter in the office, it just feels good to work here.” (We did not pay her extra to say that.)

Vicky is proud of PMG’s many partnerships with non-profit organizations, and personally serves as a Patient Care volunteer for a local Hospice organization. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, and appreciates the strong sense of family at PMG. She credits the company with fostering the belief that having a good balance between your working life and your personal life is important not only to the individual, but to the company as well.

Holly White
The ability to meet the demands of the marketplace as well as PMG’s clients and employees is very fulfilling for Holly. She also appreciates being around people who are not afraid of change.

Asked what’s the best part of her job, Holly says, “Without a doubt and without exception, the talent and character of the people at PMG that I get to work with. Everyone knows how to laugh…at themselves and at life’s comedic moments.” (Are you sensing a theme here?)

Having the freedom to stay involved with her four children, her husband, her extended family and even her dog are important considerations, too. She believes that PMG’s understanding of the fact that employees have other priorities is a crucial part of the culture.

Otherwise, Holly enjoys tennis, cooking and reading, although she provides assurances that she never engages in all three at the same time.

Chip Heartfield
Chip embodies the PMG belief in supporting important causes, saying that his main motivation for going to work every day is the chance to aid the fundraising efforts of organizations that make a difference.

As for his favorite part of working at PMG, Chip says that, “It is definitely the fact that we have a fun and dedicated group of people on staff.”

Chip is proud that PMG has an active commitment to the community and provides pro bono fundraising support for local organizations. When he’s not on the job, Chip does volunteer work with a number of nonprofits as well as for his children’s school. Yet another PMG sports nut, Chip also unwinds by working in the yard and heading to the Eastern Shore.

Christina Benedick
It would be tough to capture the essence of PMG better than Christina has: “Having been here since there were only three of us, watching the growth has been very exciting and fulfilling. PMG started out as just a place to go to work. Now it is 28 people who have a common goal with a lot of fun and laughs along the way. PMG is not ‘his’ company or ‘her’ company, it is OUR company.”

Christina considers PMG her extended family, marveling at the way so many different personalities can work so well together. Outside of work, it’s important to her to be able to balance her role as a mom with her work responsibilities. Whether it’s working from home when those unexpected ear infections happen or having reliable back-up for those important field trips to the zoo, Christina credits PMG with giving her the flexibility to do her best at both jobs.

Scott Siebenberg
Professionally, Scott is inspired by: “The philosophy at PMG that everyone has the freedom to look for ways of doing things better.” In his eyes, the fact that everyone is empowered is one of the special things about the company.

The other aspect of his work life that is gratifying for Scott is the people he works with every day. (Seriously, they’re all coming up with this on their own. This is the last one, we promise.)

Away from the office, family is his top priority. He enjoys spending time coaching his daughters’ basketball and softball teams. Scott appreciates that PMG allows him time to spend with his family, and even provides opportunities to do so through company-organized family functions.
